Gel
Gels are a type of hairstyling product made from polymers such as VP/VA Copolymer, Polyvinylpyrrolidone, and Glyceryl Stearate. It helps hair stay in place and hold the style until it is washed out. It also helps to make your hair appear smoother and shinier, which is why it is often used for styling. The downside to gels is that they can be difficult to wash off and often leave the hair feeling sticky and crunchy.
Pomade
Pomades are a type of hair styling product that is used to add body and texture to the hair, as well as to give a semi-sheen or matte finish. It is made from a wax base, such as beeswax or lanolin, and helps to lock in the style, keeping the hair in place. Unlike gels, pomades can be rinsed out easily and will leave the hair feeling soft and manageable, with none of the crunchiness associated with gels.
